| Warm up: Marching |
 Animation Marching
- Marching in place is a warming up exercise. It increases heart rate and breathing rate. When muscles are warmed up, you can start with light exercises.
- Warm up for about 1 to 5 minutes, depending on how much time you need to transition into exercise.
- Move your arms and shoulders while marching to warm up the upper body. You can also do arm stretches and arm exercises while marching in place.
- Marching improves balance.
